Hi, just put the head back on my Johnson 1982 60hp J60tlcnm
I noticed a wire was slightly cut. I fixed it and i noticed that this collection of wires were the output leads from the powerpack.
At the joiner is where the wire broke. What i cant work out is that there are three wires that come out of the powerpack, one goes to the top coil, another goes to the bottom coil which makes perfect sense but a third goes to the wiring harness which goes forward to the control, Whats that about?
This motor already has a tach line to the control.
Curious as i like to understand (which i thought i had) the primary system which i rely on to get me back to shore
Thanks
