I bought a brand new 2001 Hydra-Sports 212 WA in June with an Evinrude Ficht 150. I have had to replace my Lower Unit twice. I was able to get home both times before it completely went. This weekend about 20 miles from home port I had a new problem. The warning light for "No Oil" came on and the engine started to buck. I quickly shut it down and checked everything. Plenty of oil and no signs of a problem. We had been out for about 7 hours without a hint of a problem. I tried it 2 more times only able to run it for about a minute each and the engine light and warning tone would come back on. I had no choice but to call for a tow.
7 hours later after midnight we finaly got back to the marina!!!
I am so not happy with this engine! I can not relay on it anymore.
Does anyone know what my options are? Can I get the Dealer to remove the Engine and put a new one on? Can I get the Dealer to refund the full price of the Engine so I can go buy a different brand, like a Yamaha?

Check your "Lemon Laws" first. Strict compliance is required. Otherwise, if your dealer won't help you out, go straight to Bombardier. As far as I know, switching brands would be up to the dealer.

Nice boat, though! I have the 2001 212CC, but with a Johnson 150. Love it, but yer scarin' me, man! Been following your saga. So far, my motor runs perfectly, though. Sorry to hear of all the problems. Recreation shouldn't be so aggravating.

Just to be on the safe side, I always carry enough oil to pre-mix thru the tank filler. That way, if the oil injection pump fails, I can disconnect the wiring connector at the oil injection pump and run 'er home. When the warranty is out, I'll permanently disable that pesky pump.

Yamahas have their problems, too. But you certainly shouldn't have had this much trouble.
