I need help.
My 60hp 2002 Mercury runs good at cold start but after a minute or two driving it bogs down and don't accelerate at all. Only runs at 1000rpm and I pinpointed that 3rd cylinder isnt running. So in the dock I checked the sparkplug on #3 which is totally soaked in fuel after the testride. #1 and #2 spark looks good.
Then I checked spark during cranking and I do have spark....
I got a tip to check the priming circuit but it seems the primer/enricher only injects in the cylinder head on #2 cyl on my engine
I have cleaned sitting on the boat and emptied and had carb cleaner through jets etc.

So I got the suggestion to troubleshoot the CDM system to see if that could fail with bad sparks on #3 cyl when engine goes into normal operating temperature. The engine works well for a few minutes, but then starts bogging down.
The CDM modules on #2 and #3 cyl have the same articlenumber but #1 module has a different one.
In the troubleshooting guide for CDM is says i should swap #2 or #3 module with #1 if either cyl #2 or #3 not working.... Is that really correct? It would make more sense to swap the two cdm's with same articlenumber to see if the problem with cyl #3 moves to cyl #2.
My engine serial number is OT208100

Thats just a series number...the AXX number means latest model with any upgrades and special options such as wire length/mounting. Swap em and test.
