I picked this boat up a few months ago and have some general questions regarding it...

1st my boat says it's a Bass Master's Classic, what does that mean? Did they do anything special for those models?

2nd, one of the seats needs the pedestal fixed. The manual states that there is a repair kit available. Do those really work and should any Ranger dealer be able to get them still? Basically, the shaft pulled out of the cylinder tube. The kit looks to include misc. washers and such.

3rd, the seat backs on the pedestal seats are worn out and the wood needs replaced. I can't find any 1/2" marine grade plywood locally and it's highly expensive to ship. Has anyone tried repairing one of these with an exterior grade plywood and water sealer?

Re: 373V General Questions

A bass master classic is the model that Ranger supplied to the competors fishing in the Classic.
you can use non-marine grade plywood if you seal the wood with an expoxy sealer. you are probably further ahead to buy a new seat
As far as the pedistal they are available at any marine supply store and will run you around 50 bucks
Ranger still has parts for most hulls and are great to deal with
