My father in law and I are looking into a '74 sea ray with 351 windsor inboard. Its been sitting since '06 and ran great the last time it was in the water. The current owner stopped fishing due to whatever reason and the boat has sat since. The boat is a steal and I'm wondering what it may need (generally speaking assuming the motor was running perfectly since last used) aside from a battery, carb cleaning, plugs etc.. is this common for a boat motor? What should I look for?
