We have been using my neighbors boat for stripers mostly because he has an enclosed bimini. He starts it up in the morning without any problems and we are on our way. After the first drift he starts it up and we can hear what can best be described as a sneeze. It happends after every drift for the rest of the day. It's a I/O 350 he said the motor is 4 years old.

Re: 350 sneezes

He's probably not setting the choke. He should pump it once and set it at approximately 1500 rpm and start it. Let it run about 15 seconds, then bring back to idle. If he still has the sneeze, try revving it to 2500 once in awhile to clear out the cylinders. If it still sneezes, get some Benadryl.
