1987 mode; merc. 35 HP. this motor runs perfect at times and won't idle at other times. It always cranks good but sometimes you have to open at half throttle to keep it running and it will not idle at all. Other times it will crank and idle and run perfect. If it does not idle I might go back 30 min later and it will run fine or it might be 2 days before it will run right. I have it on a pontoon boat and it is in the water all the time, that is why I am able to try it so much. One time when it would not idle the bottom cylinder was not firing. I have been told it is the power pack and also the trigger. Thanks for your help.
