35 HP Force question

Hi All
This is my first time here. Looks like a good forum. I have a 35 HP Force engine on a small bass boat. I started it and ran it fur just a short time. Where is the water intake? Is there a water exit hole like the Tohatsu? I could not tell if it was getting water, so I shut it off quickly. I have a repair manual, but it has no schematics for the cooling system.

Year?? Model#?? Serial#??
Most 35's have a side entrance for water pickup.
Tell us what you have and someone will help you locate it.J

Did you start it in the lake etc, a barrel or muffs? I have a 1973 35HP Chrysler ?related? that will give me instant cooling water if it is deep enough in a barrel or in the lake etc. With muffs of not deep enough in a barrel has caused hesitations. I would say 30 seconds to a minute is as long as I will allow my engine to run w/o seeing cooling water exit the rear with exhaust. Run a search on Wickware or you will see info as at address below.
