I found water in my gear case, It is not coming out of the lower gear case where the prop shaft is nor is water getting in around the vent plugs (new seals) I replaced the oil in the gearcase and noticed new oil leaking out of the water intake where the screen is. Could the tube that feeds the water to the impeller housing be cracked? if so, can it be fixed? I also found mixed oil and water above the impeller housing so the oil water mix must be leaking into that area. And to top it all off, The shaft that connects to the power head has a spline that will not come off so I cannot replace the impeller. Any help and I will be forever grateful.

Year/serial#?Fill out the profile.
The shaft that connects has a spline???Post a picture. There is round cup like thingy that holds a seal.It can be knocked off/loosened.
What did the old oil look like?Milky or what?
Post pics of the oil leaks. The drive shaft seal in the water pump could be bad or the o-ring on the pump could be bad.
The tube that feeds water to the impeller, could be cracked(not likley unless it's been frozen).Jerry
