35 horse power merc

the problem i have is when i prime the system iget fuel comeing out of two different places on the carb. one place is were the chock is. the other place is right above the the floatout of an adjusement screw that has a hole through it. also i need to locate the plate were the seriel number is.

Ahoy, Westover. I think you have a float valve problem. . . it isn't shutting off the fuel input when the bowl is full. Then you get overflow.<br /><br />Don't know where the plate is on a Merc.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB
