Well tommorrow is opening day for trout, so I had to finish up all the odds and ends on my restore project. I got some good advice from folks here on this subject and decided to wire the electric starter solonoid and start button in the following locations (see picture link) I went with a small marine horn button and put it under the belly pan so it is out of the way, out of sight and easy to get to without being prone to accidental contact I am going to seal up the inside with liquid electrical tape and find a rubber schroud for the outside. so far I am happy with everything, but I know its one thing to run good in the barrel, I will let you know she is after a few stormy nights on the pond.
I am finally making good progress with the 1955 seahorse 25 hp I have been restoring, I am begining to reassemble after disecting, cleaning, repairing and repainting. can't wait till it looks like an outboard again. I will post pics as I take them. Ronnie
