32 bit XP vs 64 bit XP???

Has anyone ever heard of such, and if it exists, what would you call them? I was told by someone who appears to be somewhat Computer savvy, that all you had to do was specify which one you wanted when you order a new computer.

I guess that dual core processors would like the 64 bit but what do I know.

All knowledgable comments appreciated.

The difference is the architecture. To run a 64 bit OS you need a processor that supports 64 bit. I'm not too familiar with the 64 bit operating systems but I think some if not most of the newer processors support it. Try a Google search for "64 bit".​

I hope you know more about racing than comp's, the 64 bit will not do anything for you at all, it was just MS trial run for Vista, It will be years before dual proc tech is workable for conusmer application's and by then they will have shrunk the die process to a point that dual core will be usless........

Dual core is just marketing Boom, and as I-386 stated it is what he use's, get the drift, Even if you go xp-pro doing as much ram as you can afford will bring the fatest bang and the bigger battery would be quite cool

Back on topic, you have a pretty good mind there Boom would you like some links on cpu's and OS system's? Most of these guy's do the same as we do only with comp's.

By the way what's taking so long geesh i rebuilt my carb and she's ruuning like a champ, im thinking i'm gonna take the the 3.0 starcraft and take that old barge of your's to task...

By the way what's taking so long.... ' cause the boat is half way across the county and things keep gettin in the way to me getting over there. If it's not work, or a home project it's pouring rain out. Afternoons are my time to do it and I keep getting stuck in Ted Kulongoski's traffic nightmares in the after noon. Last week I left Wilsonville at 3 pm and it took me 1 1/2 hours to get home. Damn Socialists! Today I hope to get over and finally get the risors back on with the new exhaust boots. That's been a real odessy. Finally had to pull the studs to get that old concrete gasket glue off of the manifolds.....sheesh i rebuilt my carb and she's ruuning like a champ, im thinking i'm gonna take the the 3.0 starcraft and take that old barge of your's to task...

Gettin pretty fancy in your post'n there BY, anyway's yur right about our socialist gov Those damm fool's create urban growth boundry's pack the people and car's in so tight you have 10,000 cars idling and creeping for 45 min to a hour 3 times a day, polluting the atmosphere and burning up gas needlessly.
