30hp efi four stroke to 40hp upgrade

Hi, I am running a Mercury 2003 30hp efi four stroke 3 cylinder engine on a wee 15ft boat. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can go about increasing the output to 40hp? I believe the displacement is the same SN, 219733 made in Belgium.
