I knew this day was coming, I had hoped I would have delayed it longer though. Thursday after setting camp up at our lake. I decided to launch the Sea Doo's. before the season had started, I serviced the ski's at the house. this included pulling the pumps on both and installing new bearing's and shaft seals. so while I had them apart, I decided to clean inside the hulls. So I pulled the PLUGS. After cleaning, I left the plugs out to let all the water drain out. Well you guessed it. I backed down the beach in front of camp and slid the ski's in. anchored them and pulled the truck out and parked it. when I walked back around the camper I noticed the ski's sitting pretty low in the water. That is when the light bulb over my head lit up. I had to run down drag the ski's up on the beach and let them drain. one was ok, one had to have a little cpr before it lived. So not only did I join the drain plug club. I did it as a double. So does that mean I am good for sixty years now?

Do not mean to hurt your feelings but my take on the time line is 30 years , 2 boats at once , divide by 2 = 15 years. You also said "plugs" .. 2 plugs per boat =4 so divide by 4 and that is 3 years 271 days . That is per boat so divide by 2 again and that leaves 1 year and 317 days. Since most people launch once a week that leaves 97 days. Now for the age factor , divided by your posted age = 2 days , 2hrs and 40 minutes. Divide again by number of years over 40 due to the I never make mistakes syndrome = 8 hrs and 24 minutes. Since you have lasted 30 years and should have lasted only 8 hrs divide by 32850 ( the number of hours you have cheated this fate ) gives you less than a second .
