Have just replaced impeller, placed gear lever in neutral, inserted the LU. Then conected the gear selector rod. Bolted it all up. Problem is when I turn the propeller in forward gear, it just gives a clicking sound, and isnt turning the motor. When I turn the prop anti clockwise, it turns the motor. When I put it in reverse, the prop turns the motor, when turned clockwise or anticlockwise . Can anyone help?

Thanks Mate, so when motor is not operating, it is normal to feel no positivedrive in forward gear when turning prop by hand.

The clutch dog is the ratcheting type. In F, you should not be able to free-wheel the prop backwards, but it should "click" when turning it forward.
