I need help bad on this one! My 30 hp Nissan backfires looses power and quits running at times. It won't turn over after that. I can't even pull the rope to start it, the motor is locked up. I discovered if I lift the high idle lever it somehow frees up something and the motor will turn over and start. I know it sounds foolish but, it's the truth! Believe me, that motor locks up!
