30 hp merc. stalls

1995 30 hp merc. stalls at full throttle after just a few seconds. the spark seems to cut in and out. Could be fuel but all filters are new.<br />Plugs are correct type and wires seem good.<br />runs fine at half throttle.

Replace fuel pump diaphram ($2). If that doesn't work check the carb float level. Or do both at once and get it over with - it should take less than an hour to do both.

Im sure I can Replace fuel pump diaphram but how do you set the carb float to the proper setting(is there some measurement)?

Ask a dealer or get a manual to get the float height, I don't have info for that engine. You'll need to pull the carbs, turn upside down, remove bowl, and measure from carb body to top of float. Bend the float arm at the needle valve to change the float height. Since it's a 95 you may want to replace the needle valve while you're in there. Get a gasket set also, they're cheap. Don't buy a float unless you're independently wealthy.
