My guess is there is no way to get those decals off.You may find replacements at The Antique Outboard Motor Club at:www.aomci.org.

Hi OMC,<br /> Your best bet, lacking a source for new from any of the sites on the AOMCI.org links page, would be to take your existing decals to a print shop and have them copy them. A really good print shop ought to be able to shoot them, clean them up in Photoshop and print out new ones. Might cost you a bit, but if you have them print off several sets you should be able to break even by offering the extras on eBay. Your motor is in that gray area between the Classics of the 1950s and the Late Model era of the 1980s and newer, so there hasn't been much call for a commercially available reproduction decal. <br /> Of course, it never hurts to check a long-standing OMC/BMC dealership, either, as sometimes if you catch the right guy on the right day they'll dust off the really old stuff....<br />- Scott
