what a shame. a 34ft silverton was out to watch the fireworks wed night with 27....yes, 27, people on board. on the way back in, the boat turned and caught a wake from another boat broadside and rolled her over. fortunately, there were other boaters there to pull most of the people out of the water. UNFORTUNATELY, 3 children (8, 11, 12 yrs old) drowned in the accident. one was found that night, the other two were found this morning inside the boat. what a shame, sensless tragedy that could have been avoided. i dont know what the legal capacity is for a boat that big, but it sounds like it was overloaded to me.
