You know guys..its tough being who you Are sometimes..

Today would be one of those times for me..

Today I found out that others have complete hope..and some have No hope ..

I find myself in a cunundrum..

I was in Miami ( Gables area ) when Hurricain Andrew plowed through Florida... Complete DESTRUCTION !! I mean Total devistation beyond my belief.. It Was Bad bad bad..

We camped together .. living together..packs together.. NO water or electricity for a month..

So I wake up this morning all gummed up for a full primer job on this new 40 footer that I just prepped for a week...do the job and come home with the news on Japan...

Im like ok.. ( dont have cable so I You tube it ) ..

My heart sunk very hard...I cant even take a bathroom break without thinking how bad this IS..

I have the comfort of my toilet .. and my heater just kicked in to my delight...why do I feel so...

I watched the news and videos in absolute horror. It gives prospective to how helpless we can be against nature and makes me be thankful for everything I have. It is a very difficult thing to comprehend.

Same as Bob on this. I have called and e-mailed all my business contacts over there. Everyone except 1 has replied or responded so far.
I am currently scheduled for 10 days in China starting 19th March. Have to see how things are I think.

Thin as it may be, there is a silver lining. I didn't hear or see a single word about Charlie Whatshisname all day.

This goes to show you that it does not matter who you are and how much you have it can be taken away in a moment. Mother nature is one of the most powerful and unpredictable forces on this planet we have and she is not forgiving.

I have sat and watched this on the tube and it seems like a video game. The final tally if thats the word will be horendous, we will be given numbers and try to make sense of it all.

THe only sense i can make of this is how tiny and fragile we are as humans....One minute life is good...full of purpose a sense of direction or continuity....And in a blink of a eye that is all gone......Our budget woes and lost wages no longer seem so...important.

It might be a good thing if we all took the time to refelect a bit.
