Took the pontoon out for the first time this summer, it would only get up to around 3,200 RPM, seemed to run fine besides not ideling well. Replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap, and prop since it was dinged up thinking that may fix it. Adjusted carb until it ran smooth and took 8 adults out for the day. Still would only achieve around 3.1-3.6k RPMs, engine seems fine, no funny noises, has power besides lack of top end speed, drove it in total around 2 hours.
Did a compression check today and cylinder #3 was zero, others around 150. Still need to do a leak test but wondering if safe to continue using it until I can pull the head since it seemed so fine earlier? What damage can be caused?

Ayuh,..... That depends on Why it's zero,.....
If it's a tuliped valve, the valve head could break off, 'n trash the cylinder, piston, 'n head,....
