got a 1990 maxum with a 3.0l. 1.98 final drive if remembering correctly..went out this weekend and went tubing. 6 people in boat and 1 on tube. all pretty skinny people. the boat just seemed like it had a very hard time getting on plain. once it did, was ok. im not sure if it would ever get anyone out of the water with ski's. i dont have all the info needed to get all the help needed to find a better prop but just some info would be great. i know its a small engine and can only expect so much. i got some numbers off the prop thats on it(prop is little chewed on edges-got stuck on a sand bar in a river-live and learn.) numbers are 48-78120-19.......then up the side there is a 0067 and a 13 with big space between the 1 and 3. there is a set of small numbers up the side but was having hard time to read them...i think the 19 might be pitch....if so, would a 17p make the boat come out of the water faster when pulling??? anyone know what stop is for this particular boat?? just some ideas would be great and ill get some good numbers next time im out on it. thanks lots...jim
