3.0 to 3.7 engine swap

Hi i have a bad 3.0 mercuriser. I aslo have a good 3.7 mercrusier and outdrive. My question is is it possible to swap it out without having to replace the gimbal housing as well. Both are alpha outdrives. Thanks

Yes, you'll need new motor mounts. Now prepare yourself for the onslaught op2:

only if the rear motor mount bolts are the same spacing apart and you need to fab up new front mount
