3.0 Overheats while underload only

Why would my boat over heat while under load but not at the house on the hose??? Thanks for the help!!

Ayuh,.....

Probably because the Impeller is Shot,+ can only supply enough water while the motor is Not under Load....

Ayuh,....

Foolish Me,....
I never have to log in,+ whenever I did, I just refered to an email from iboats,+ used the #s, letters from that,...
My password hasn't been what I use since the software crash of,... Well, 1 of the software issues...
Without ever going to my profile,+ changing it to something I Know....
Once I get back on,+ back to Normal,..... I'll Fix it this time....
So,..... I really have No Clue as to what my password is....
And,....
I haven't set up my email properly yet.... Windows Mail, vs. Outlook Express,... I'll figure it Out,.. Just don't want to take the Tme at this moment...
My old 'puter should be fixed by Monday,+ I was thinking I can use the new Windows transfer system to set up All of my accounts from the old 'puter....
But,....
After spending a couple of days out of town working,....
I just couldn't stay away from iboats for 2 More days....

I'll suffer thru this,+ Hopefully,... I can get things back to normal by Monday evening.....

Pull the hose coming from the transom off at the front of the engine.
Hold it up at transom level-water should be shooting up.

Well glad we got BONDO's issue sloved...ha ha just kidding, well I pulled the hoses and back flushed it took her to the lake and she didn't run over 170, so whatever was lodged must be free....PS the impeller was just replaced las month and this was only the third time out...yes I know an impeller can be fried the first time back out so I will keep an eye out for it running hot.....thanks for the help i think. LOL

Was the old impeller shot? If it was missing pieces, and you didn't see them come out when back flushing; you may still have gremlins.

fruity thermastat.i had to replace mine this year saltwater makes me change it out almost every year.enough water in the driveway but when under power the t-stat might not be opening.or opening just a little bit.good luck
