Just changed the gimbal bearing on my 88 bayliner 3.0 omc . I went to aline the motor and i can not install the tool at all, it hits the bearing and istantly stuck. I have adjusted the front of the motor both directions and it does not get any better or worse. It feels like the input on the gimbal bearing is to small.. It is a serria 18-2771. I think it is the right part. Help please if this has happen to anyone else.
