3.0 mpi

Hi guys, i have a new Larson lx 1850 with the 3.0 mpi Mercruiser. The boat just hit the 10 hour mark last time we were out and i was able to go WOT briefly. Would only get up to 4200 rpm @ speedo indicated 41 mph with 2 adults and 2 kids which is the normal load. Stock prop is a Black Max 14.25 x 21p. I'm thinking of getting a Turning Point Legacy 14.25 x 19. Would i be better to wait til the engine is fully broken in or should i go for it now?

I think I would wait for full breakin.Generically these setups typically run props in the 20s up to about 23, for speed,occasionally approaching speeds around 45.These things vary depending on the actual size,weight and style.Your certainly in the ball park;give things a chance to settle, play with your trim & weight placement.
