I have a 1988 3.0 mercrusier with a major oil leak losing about 2 quarts a day. It all seems to leak out around the pulleys in the front of the motor. I have installed a new water pump new timing cover new seal and now a new harmonic balancer still luck. Out yesterday oil spray off the belts and in the bilge. I'm at a loss.

and if you didnt drop the pan first ,your leak is at the bottom of the timing cover or the edge of the pan

Are you sure that there are no pin holes in the front of the oil pan ?
I replaced many of those timing covers and the only way to seal it is to remove all the gasket material and use gasket making sealer . Always worked for me.

Changed water pump because it was leaking and caused the timing cover to rot never dropped the oil pan just cut out the old gasket and rtv the seam
