Hello everyone, I hope someone can help. I've got a 1991 3.0 Alpha 1 Gen 1 with water in oil. I have found a replacement engine, 1988 model. Will they interchange? What parts may need to be swapped? Any help is greatly appreciated.
^^^ Yup, you'll be able to see what does not match up, swap it over from the old engine,,, if possible...
Check; carb, manifold, exhaust pipe, flywheel, starter, rear engine mount, ignition, shift cable mounting points. If all that stuff matches up, you are doing good.
