Rebuilding the carb and am confused on the float level settings. I have the factory manual which says the level should be 14mm if the needle is the spring type, 10mm otherwise. 14 seems way too high, especially since the float drop is dead on at 27mm. If I adjust the level, the drop will be off. I think I'm measuring from the right location on the float, the "lower dot" on the side of the float. Am I reading it incorrectly? Thanks!
