I have a new boat with 17 hours on it and since new it stumbles the first time you accelerate. The engine is up to temp--175 degrees. The stumble is less on second/third accels but never goes completely away. If you let the boat sit for 20 minutes the problem reoccurs. The dealer changed the arm position on the accelerator pump but it only got a little better. Also the engine "hunts" at 3200 RPM.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Re: 3.0 Merc Stumbles

Were having alot of prblems with the fuel that is left in the carb when they are run at merc. then sent off to be put in a boat and sit on the lot till someone buys it. It probably needs a carb job, we see alot of stuck power valves, get it done while its in warranty and you shouldnt have any more problems. Run a fuel conditioner like 2+4 or equivellent to keep it from happening again.
