My motor just quit on the water and haven't started since. It is getting fuel and fire(starts and runs for a second but that is it). Is there a kill switch somewhere that is keeping it from running or could it be something much worse?
test the resistor wire that goes to the coil if it will only run when the engine is being cranked but stops as soon as you let go of the key. None of the other safetys should allow the engine to start.
