You could try www.rapair.com, they build some new stuff, repair just about any outboard cdi systems,<br />and will repair your cid in some cases. I have used there parts for about 12 years without any problems.

tried merc marine but engine too old to search with serial # and i am in the uk so no zip code to use either. rapair site was unavailable. on the plus side the swedish site marinshoppen were very helpful and it appears that they stock many parts for this model. thanks for your help anyway guys.
