Anyone with a 268 with a 7.4 bravo, can tell me what your running for a prop? Mine has a 17 pitch I forget the dia. mirage stainless. The problem I'm having is at fully loaded gas, water, and five people it doesn't want to come up and plane for a long long time. I have tried different trim setting, but it will hang at about 4000 rpm until it comes up then go to 4400 at full speed. When it lightly loaded it comes up ok and it will run at 4500 rpm. I'm wondering if I should go to a 15 pitch as I would like to do tubing and some sking.

Thanks
Dan

The bottom's clean right? That's a lot of weight too. Put all the heavy stuff you can in the bow, that'll help a bit and make sure your leg's trimmed all the way down to start. You're on track with the 15" pitch prop I think. Most shops have props you can borrow to make sure you get it right. Try a 4 blade too, they create some stern lift.
