I am thinking about buying a yamaha outboard 25 hp tiller handle electric start 2 stroke. The guy I am interested in buying from got compression tests done today and the 1st cylinder came back as 95-96 the 2nd cylinder came back as 96-97. He also said wet the compression tests said 108 together??? He is asking 1000 for it and I just wanted to know if this was a motor that seemed mechanically sound? and if the price seemed right for a good running motor?
Also, the serial number is 25ESHQ and I also would like to know what that meant as far as what the year of the motor was?
