25hp tohatsu alternator

i have a 2001 25hp 2 stroke tohatsu it is manual start is there any way to charge a battery off of this motor? does it already have a alternator? or would i have to purchase one? it already has a flywheel w/teeth for a stater from the factory

If the Model is an M25C2, it does have an alternator standard. This is for AC lighting. Connectors should be at the front edge of the lower cowl on the starboard side. However, for charging, you can get a rectifier kit 346-76160-1.

i belive mine is the 25c3 would it be the same thanks

The alternator is shown on PDF page 21 (figure 6). The parts list is on page 22.

The "rectifier complete" is shown on page 59, figure 19. The listing is on page 60. Line item 19-10, p/n 3G2-76060-0
