25hp nissan upgrade

hey all. I am looking at buying a friends 1992 Nissan 25 . Is this a good year motor is nice.Also was wondering if there is any way to make more hp with this motor timing carb reeds ect???If any one knows a few tricks i would like to try just let me know either way thanks

no one have any ideas not even you guru just need a few ideas

You can turn it into a 30. Depending on the model....Timing change, carb gasket or its a 30 now.

thanks so when i get it i need to list the model # and see if it can be converted

No...If you have a 25 it is either a 30 now or it definitely can be made into a 30. What varies are the steps to get there.
