25hp Johnson Year? Prop Rec?

Good evening!

Can I get the year of a 25hp Johnson I just purchased? Model J25ELENS ser 9603072121? I think it is a 92
Also, I will be running this engine on a 16ft skiff, any recomendations of prop. specs I should stat off with?

I suggest you start off with the stock prop that came with the motor. You might get lucky. If nothing else, you have a point of reference to go from.

Check the stickies at the top of the page.
Prop size appears on the barrel or under the prop nut.
Do some test runs and get the max rpm and speed to us.

Thanks! I figured it was a 92..
The current prop is pretty chomped up so I figured I start off with a recomended pitch/size alluminum prop to bas what I will finally end up with..

How can I find out what the demensionsof the stock prop that came with this engine is? (the current one is unreadable)
