25hp Honda, slow idle

Hi,<br /><br />My 25hp is trolling a little too fast. How do I adjust the idle to slow it down a bit. It's a BF25A with steering remote. 16ft boat.<br /><br />I believe the serial # is 3001286.<br /><br />Thanks

i have the4 same problem on my 15 horse honda , and somebody repolied that i cant slow it down or the engine wont run right

You will need to put it on a shop tach and compare you're actual idle speed to recommeded spec.I would'nt advise adjusting any lower than the bottom end of the spec as you will find plug fowling and erratic idle in your future.
