250 hpdi

I have a 2004 yamaha 250 HPDI it fouls plugs about every 5 to 10 hrs, I run it @ 3800 to 4300 rpm does anyone know why?

take your engine PID to any yamaha dealer, have them run it.
a whole lotta updates were supposed to have been done to correct that.
we dont know if they were done or not.

All updates are done, could a leaky fuel pump cause it to run rich and foul the plugs?

yes,as can a leaking oil pump shaft,low or high fuel rail pressure and the operating condtions.
