Brother has an 06 250 Etec that the check engine light/alarm comes on when he puts it in gear. Engine runs good but he is not going to run it until its checked out. Just seeing if anyone has had similar problems. Light only comes on when he puts it in gear, then stays on. Mechanics up his way still have not looked at it(been two weeks) and another mechanic said it would be four weeks. He is buying the wire and software to plug in and see if he can figue it out.
