25 Yamaha HELP

I heard a ticking noise every once in a while at WOT so i let off a little and it was still there, Also as it would tick you could feel power loss like maybe something electrical.Then right when i was pulling up to the ramp it cut off and could not be started again. Checked spark but i'm not sure if it is strong enough.

Run it at night with the cowling off and look at all the wires especially the sparkplug wires. Sounds like an arcing plug/coil wire.<br /><br />Oops sorry, I guess its not running anymore, still, look for evidence of arcing on the plug wires

Yes i had tought of the night thing but i can't get it started no matter what

The ignition systems on the Yamaha's are very depedable. With the spark plugs removed put your thumb over the hole and rotate the flywheel with your hand. Do you feel a vacuum and pressure pulse? Is it even on both cylinders? Engine model numbers are helpfull.
