I just picked up a 1998 25hp Johnson e-start tiller J25TEECB Engine. I will be using this engine on a boat with remote controls so I need to convert it over from the tiller set up. The engine is not wired for the remote harness plug but I think I need to just hook up the kill switch and the start button switch to the existing ignition switch in the control box to get it running.
Can any one give me a wiring diagram for the control box key/switch wiring?
Also I will need a wiring diagram for the engine.
Is there some place you can get the cable end mounts for this engine to hook it up to OMC cables other than at a dealer?
