25 Johnson 1991 stalls or won't start

If engine starts, it tends to stall when put in gear. Usually will start with starting fluid.<br />Sometimes runs good about 15 min. then suddenly stalls and won't start again. New fuel pump, new in line filter. Have drained carb bowl <br />5/27/03 last couple of days it started fine with starting fluid, ran about a minute then died, wouldn't restart even with starting fluid
