Accidentally crossed the wires for me lights on my battery for my 2010 mercruy 25 efi. I didnt cross the wires that go to the motor just the set of wires for my light bar and my motor start smoking and I quickly unhooked the terminals and now my electric start wont work. Where should I start to diagnose what I need new? A wire towards the bottom of the motor was what started smoking but it looks like it doesnt come from or go anywhere. Any help is much appreciated and sorry if this is the wrong spot for the question.
