25 hp long shaft Yamaha having problems running in weeds

I've been having trouble running my motor in the weeds. Ever time they bunch up on the proop they cut off the water at the intake and it's a pain in the ass. I've seen a lot of small outboards going right through them like nothing. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas what to do to fix this problem. Thanks guys

Air cooled motors do not worry about water flow
They make motors to run in weeds and mud in the swamps, but no way to convert your Yamaha that I know of
At least I think you might have a Yamaha

There are "weed less" props that you can purchase that would probably help....the blades have a different/special design that helps keep the weeds from tangling around them....And always double-check your high temperature alarm so you'll know when weeds have cut off water flow.....
