25 hp johson plugs ?

upper and lower plugs electrodes are burnt off leaving a hole in the center of the plugs also burnt the top plug wire boot off any idea what it might be plugs were a j8c and cj8 thanks

What year is the motor that helps alot in plug selection....

oh sorry how did i miss that 1973 went fishing this morning and the motor was skipping thats what i had in the boat so thats what i put in i think i mostly run l77

The listed plug for the 1973 25HP motors is the Champion J4C. The 77s are for 1977 and newer.
