25 hp johnson throttle link

Hello. I'm new to the site but not mechanics. I have a 25r71s Johnson and I'm stumped as to where to find a link that connects the throttle control arm to the stator plate. I've been through a lot of parts sites and can't find it any where. If someone has a picture of one I could make it. I'll include a picture. The PO put a coil on and it rubbed the flywheel and lost the piece. I fixed the rubbing issue and it runs but no throttle control. Thanks in advance.

I think you may be describing the spring clip link that holds the armature plate arm onto the horizonal shaft...try marineengie.com..your year/hp/magneto..part 4 on the diagram < part no. 0316362 >....looks to be available from the dealer

Yep! That's what was missing. Found one on another motor and fixed it right up!
