25/30 hp nissan HELP PLEASE

hello everyone i have a 25hp nissan on a J14 carolina skiff i put the 30hp carb gasket on it this week and had it out twice has ran great. this morning we went out ran it for 30mins on and off around full thottle again ran great. well we passed another boat hit its wake and the motor started cutting out so i pulled the cowl off looked at everything nothing unhooked or loose. it would idle fine but right above idle it would start cutting out so we headed to the hill at 2mph. we saw a dolphin stopped for 5mins so my son could see him fired the motor up ran fine till we passed another boat and hit its wake and started doing same thing shut it off trimmed it up and waited for a few mins it fired up again ran great to the ramp got home put the ears on it runs fine no problems... any advise would be awesome.. thanks jeremy

Could be anything. But, you could start by checking that nothing has come loose or sprung a leak.

I checked fuel lines, fuel filter all the electrical connections I'm stumped it acted like it was running out of fuel but everything seemed good even took the line off the Carb while running pumping fuel good thanks jeremy

The next step is:

Service manual

Then you pick one of the engines three systems and start troubleshooting. I would start with the fuel system first.
