What is the proper fix for a stripped out lag bolt on the forward engine mount on a merc 228 V8. The boat is a 1983 Sea Ray 245 Cuddy in great shape.<br />I tried a bigger lag, but it too would not hold.<br />Any ideas
Hopefully it's not rotten. If it's into the stringer I'd fill the hole in with resin, after it sets up drill a pilot hole and thread it back together. I like those boats.
