Hi,I have a 1996 225 mercury offshore.Its carbureted and oil injected.I have owned it for 2 years now and it ran fine until recently.I seem to have an electrical problem and i was hoping someone could help me out here.When i first start the engine it runs like crap.It sounds as if im turning the key switch on and off.When i put it in gear to leave the dock it normally runs fine,but is getting worse by the day and sometimes doesnt now.Fuel system is fine and i just tinkered with the tps and crank position sensor a little and it seems to make a small difference for a short time but then goes back to acting crazy.thanks for any help on this.
